I have been trying to get a
Student for you this year, but thus far have
failed, unless you have a scholarship at
your disposal. If you have, I should like
to commend your favor a young man of
excellent character who will prove to be a
good scholar. His parents have not much
means but are trying to find some way
to put him through Dartmouth.
