Description
This copy of a confessor's handbook is incomplete.
Note [Physical Description]
Collation: Parchment, fol. ii (modern parchment) + 142 (pagination beginning with "24" has been trimmed from the upper right corner of most rectos) + i (modern parchment) ; Quire 8 is out of place, fol. 126-134 should precede fol. 69. Layout: Written in 2 columns of 40-52 lines; ruled in lead partially erased. Decoration: Red, plain initials and paragraph marks throughout, except fol. 78-86, where space is left for rubrication that was never completed.
Full parchment binding. If binding is original, it has been repaired with modern pastedowns and single flyleaves at front and back. Repairs have also been made to quires during resewing.
Note [Script]
Written predominantly in a small, compressed Hybrida Currens. There appear to be at least four different hands.
