Text is probably part the daily office for lay individuals according to the Sarum Use. This leaf begins in a reading from Genesis 3 in the middle of verse 1.

Layout: Written in 2 columns of 30 lines, below top line; ruled. Decoration: Brown with red tips and blue foliate initials with pointed, vegetal extensions into the column margins and with red, blue, and brown decorations in the letter interiors. Rubrication marks liturgical notes.
